In cozy spaces (like a boat) with a bunch of people, maintaining social distancing is very difficult and sometimes straight up impossible.
With that in mind, we had to cancel all of our summer charters which generate 85% of our yearly revenue. With such a significant loss in revenue, we are calling for all hands on deck! It takes $100k (or more) per year to adequately maintain a vessel of Odyssey’s size, type and age. We need these funds to be able to meet the U.S. Coast Guard’s stringent standards for vessel maintenance and safety. If we can’t meet those standards, we won’t be permitted to get underway as a passenger vessel, which means we can’t earn income, which means our one-of-a-kind youth program will die. We are rapidly approaching our annual dry-dock and our funds are running critically low. We appreciate any way you can lend a hand!
